Dr. Deb Jacobson, MD, CAQSM

Dr. Deb Jacobson is a highly respected Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician with over two decades of experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries, optimizing athletic performance, and advancing sports medicine education. She specializes in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and wellness counseling, helping athletes of all levels return to peak performance.

Dr. Jacobson completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Ohio State University and Family Practice Residency at Exempla-St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado Health Science Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado - Boulder, where she graduated with honors while competing on a full-ride athletic scholarship for Women's Division I Basketball.

Currently, Dr. Jacobson serves as a Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician at Denver Sports Medicine – SCL Physicians and the Director of Sports Medicine at Exempla-St. Joseph Family Practice Residency, where she plays a pivotal role in educating and mentoring future physicians. She has also provided expert medical care as a Team Physician for the Colorado Mammoth (professional lacrosse) since 2003 and previously worked with the University of Denver Women’s Basketball team.

With a passion for athlete health and performance, Dr. Jacobson combines cutting-edge sports medicine knowledge with firsthand athletic experience to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
